What are the documents to be submitted upon the establishment of the employment relationship?

The documents to be submitted to the employee are as follows:

  • contract of employment;
  • contractual information pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 104/2022, in accordance with the relevant time limits;
  • personal data processing notice (privacy);
  • tax deductions and household dependency form;
  • TFR/2 allocation form;
  • individual remote work agreement, if any.

What are the time limits for submitting the ‘UNILAV’ report to the Employment Office for private employers?

The time limits for submitting the ‘UNILAV’ report regarding employment relationships are as follows:

  • ‘UNILAV’ report regarding the start of employment relationships for employees, para-subordinate employees, extra-curricular internships and cooperative members in the private sector must be sent no later than the day before the commencement of the employment relationship;
  • ‘UNILAV’ report regarding extensions of fixed-term contracts, conversions of the relationship, terminations and ‘Vardatori’ must be sent within 5 days from the occurrence of the event.
