What are the main instruments used in companies to incentivise human resources?

Among the main tools used by companies to improve and incentivise their personnel’s motivation, we can certainly mention the following measures:

  • flexible working hours and the possibility of working in so-called ‘Smart Working’, useful measures for employees to balance their private and working life;
  • preparation of resource development plans, setting individual, team, and/or company objectives, which, if achieved, provide for the recognition of specific performance bonuses, to incentivize workers to boost performance and improve environmental conditions in the workplace;
  • second-level bargaining;
  • corporate welfare plans that, if well structured, lead to an improvement in staff motivation as they meet workers’ needs.

In each of the above cases, the employment consultant helps the entrepreneur to identify organisational and incentive measures with respect to the personnel employed in the company.
